Description

Join us for our ‘Buddy Loves Dot Art’ Cultural Workshops – the perfect way for your little one to enjoy a day of creative arts while increasing their knowledge about Aboriginal culture.  This workshop has been designed to allow children to participate in a fun and cultural experience.

Creative Kids Vouchers can be used to cover the cost of the workshop.

The workshop will run from 9am – 3pm and include activities within Breakers court level or mezzanine level and open space directly outside the stadium (Duffys Oval, Tennis Courts, and Bike Track).

Activities throughout the day include – Cooking Damper for morning tea, gathering items to use for artworks, creating paints out of natural products, painting, free play and morning and afternoon tea.

Now more than ever we are seeing an increased interest in Aboriginal culture and creative outlets for children.

Buddy Loves Dot Art is passionate about closing the gap through art and knowledge. Buddy has had some success with free online workshops during COVID isolation and found parents seeking cultural and creative outlets for their kids during this time.

PLEASE NOTE BY ENROLLING INTO THIS PROGRAM, YOU ARE PROVIDING PERMISSION FOR YOUR CHILD TO LEAVE THE STADIUM UNDER THE CARE AND SUPERVISION OF THE PROGRAM COORDINATORS FOR THE PURPOSE OF GATHERING ITEMS TO USE FOR THEIR ARTWORKS.
