Celebrate NAIDOC week by joining us for our ‘Sip and Dot’ Workshop!
Conducted by local Aboriginal Artist, Buddy King, this workshop will allow you to create your own traditional Aboriginal Art inspired masterpiece while enjoying drinks, nibbles and culture
About Buddy King:
Buddy is a proud Kamilaroi Yorta Yorta man now living on Darkinjung land. Buddy is a father, an artist, works in Child Protection and loves expressing his love of culture and land through art.
Buddy Loves Dot Art was born because of this passion. He loves to share culture through art, and wants to break the barriers between Aboriginal and non Aboriginal people using his artworks.
Drawing inspiration from nature is a big feature in his artworks, and the sunrise over Wamberal Beach was used as inspiration for Buddy to feature in a recent campaign with a national paint brand.
Buddy loves sharing his culture and story through small group workshops and hopes to continue to educate non Aboriginal people through art and colour.
